Africa-Press – Angola. An investigation to investigate the practice of renting prepaid “Visa Kamba” cards was opened by Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI) to determine the reality of the facts, the banking institution announced this Saturday in Luanda.
According to a press release, the investigation will serve to establish the reality of the facts, as it compromises the security and integrity of financial services.
It adds that this practice represents a serious violation of contractual clauses, contrary to safety rules when using them.
The document also states that in the face of these illegal practices, BAI will take strict measures, including criminal complaints and termination of contracts, against the perpetrators.
It also clarifies that these actions are based on contractual provisions that allow the Bank to close customer accounts in cases of non-compliance with established conditions, including incorrect use of payment methods.
It points out that the adoption of restrictive measures by BAI is an important step in maintaining trust and preventing fraudulent activities.
The institution calls on its customers to strictly comply with the terms and conditions of established contracts and reiterates its commitment to offering safe services that meet needs.
It also encourages the practice of reporting situations that constitute an abuse of trust in the use of payment methods.
