Africa-Press – Angola. The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) arrested three Angolans for their alleged involvement in the attack and death of a Chinese citizen Gu Tung Chong, aged 60.
These are citizens Josemar João António Delengue (Bili Dji), 23-year-old single, Tiago Manuel Vemba (Tiame or Santiago), 27-year-old single, and Lopes Ambrósio Tiangala (Moleza), 23-year-old single.
The information was provided (Monday), in Luanda, by the SIC spokesperson, Manuel Halaiwa, for whom those involved in the crime, which occurred in the city of China, last Wednesday, are being heard, in the sense of coercive measures corresponding to the acts being applied.
According to the official, the arrest was the result of extensive work by the investigation services, using video surveillance images that circulated on social media.
Manuel Halaiwa said that preliminary data indicate that the homicide resulted from mechanical asphyxiation and administration of an as yet unidentified substance.
“The corpse was removed to the Josina Machel Hospital morgue, for the purpose of judicial necropsy”, he explained.
After the murder, the alleged workers took with them 70 thousand US dollars and another three million kwanzas, which were in the safe in the warehouse.
The crime occurred on Wednesday, when the Chinese man was in the bale warehouse located in nave 3, in block 9, preparing lunch for the day.
The spokesperson appealed to citizens, both national and foreign, to avoid keeping large sums of money in commercial establishments or homes.
Gu Tung Chong, married, 60 years old, was a stock manager, cook and lived in the commercial center of the city of China.
