Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Cunene, Gerdina Didalelwa, defended, this Saturday, the strengthening of the party’s base structures, aiming for a new work dynamic in the province.
When speaking at the opening of the assembly to review and renew the mandate of grassroots organizations, the leader pointed to staff training as one of the priorities for this challenge.
“The safe base of the party are the action committees, where the activists who have always led the MPLA to victory in all elections held in the country are included,” he said.
He highlighted the need to intensify work in communities, to increasingly increase trust and respect for the party, whose work is based on freedom, justice and social well-being.
He called on grassroots organizations to continue recruiting activists, taking into account, above all, their quality.
