Africa-Press – Angola. The Delegation of the Ministry of the Interior (Minint) in Cuanza-Norte urged this Tuesday, in Ndalatando, the women of the sector’s bodies to observe the institution’s ethics and regulations, namely the correct use of the uniform in order to gain respect and trust from citizens.
The exhortation was made in a lecture, led by the director of Institutional Communication and Press of the provincial delegation of Minint, intendant Esperança Rodrigues, who advised against the use of form-fitting uniforms, flashy lipsticks, extravagant nails, dark glasses and artificial hair that make it difficult to wear. of the beret or military cap by women in uniform
The speaker lamented the fact that some women in uniform, in full activity, are more concerned with their personal image than with their duty to guarantee public safety.
He described such behaviors as contrary to the institution’s functional regulations and subject to disciplinary measures, as they conflict with the regulations and the profile of staff, highlighting the need to avoid wearing the uniform off duty as well as abusive use of it to carry out conduct considered unseemly.
He asked women to serve as an example for society and to adopt behaviors that inspire confidence among citizens, as agents of order.
The activity, part of the celebrations of March 8th – International Women’s Day, was promoted by the local Minint delegation, in partnership with the Angola Police Women’s Network (REMPA), aimed at the institution’s female staff.
