Africa-Press – Angola. Traditional and popular authorities from the region of Cajinga, surrounding the Damba Penitentiary Establishment, in the municipality of Mucari, benefited today, Monday, from three-wheeled motorcycles, generators and household utensils, in an initiative by the Ministry of the Interior.
The responsible minister, Eugénio Laborinho, handed over the resources, on the sidelines of the closing of the second phase of the 1st Criminal Investigation course held at the Damba Training Center.
The local governor, Vitória Figueira, one of the recipients, thanked the Ministry for the gesture, considering that it will minimize some of the needs that citizens face.
He called for the conservation of resources and the spirit of mutual help, especially for those who benefited from motorbikes, facilitating the transport of residents in case of illness.
In turn, Baptista de Oliveira, who benefited from a motorbike, said that the means will be used to transport products from the countryside to the markets, as it constitutes one of the biggest difficulties in the Cajinga region.
Affecting the Catala sector, the Cajinga district has an estimated population of 100 inhabitants, who are essentially dedicated to rural activities.
