Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, addressed this Wednesday the state of bilateral relations with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
In a phone call, according to the Press Secretariat of the President of the Republic, the two Heads of State also discussed regional issues.
In 2023, French President Emmanuel Macron made a two-day visit to Angola to deepen bilateral relations.
France is already one of Angola’s main economic partners, with a very strong presence in the oil sector and intends to expand cooperation in different areas.
More than 70 French companies operate in Angola and offer around 10 thousand jobs.
