Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, decreed this Thursday, in Luanda, an additional remuneration of thirty thousand kwanzas, from the 1st of June next, for public servants and administrative agents of the general public service regime.
According to a note from the Press Secretariat, the decree establishes, on the other hand, that staff in higher education teaching careers and scientific researchers are entitled to additional remuneration of 495,282.40 kwanzas, for full professors, 451,060.75 kwanzas for associate, kz 424,527.77 for assistant, kz 397,994.78 (assistant) and kz 336,084.48 (trainee assistant).
Scientific Researcher
For scientific researchers, the diploma determines kz 495 282.40 for coordinator, kz 451 060.75 (main), kz 424 527.77 (assistant), kz 397 994.78 (assistant) and kz 336 084.48 (intern ).
The presidential decree also indicates that military doctors and health personnel can opt for the remuneration scheme for personnel integrated into the respective professional careers of civilian personnel in the sector.
It states that the adjustment of basic civil service salaries, approved last February, aims to ensure greater administrative efficiency and improve the quality of public services provided to citizens.
The specific adjustment is in line with the goals defined in the Roadmap for the Implementation of the New Public Administration Remuneration Architecture (RINAR), approved on October 30, 2023, explains the note.
