Africa-Press – Angola. The sale of prepaid energy recharges, through the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE), is temporarily interrupted, throughout the national territory, due to a technical fault registered in the system, this Sunday.
According to ENDE spokesperson, Lauro Fortunato, this is a failure in the national IT system that interrupted sales in face-to-face and virtual channels, such as ATM (Multicaixa), Internetbanking and Multicaixa Express.
Given this scenario, ENDE calls on customers who wish to top up to request an advance payment, which can be made from the device itself.
The spokesperson also asks customers to understand the inconvenience resulting from the situation and guarantees that everything is being done to normalize prepaid energy recharge sales services.
ENDE results from the merger of the assets of the extinct EDEL and the Distribution Business Unit of the extinct ENE, developing its activity throughout the national territory.
The National Electricity Distribution Company’s mission is to distribute and sell electrical energy at national level, within the scope of the Public Electrical System (SEP) and at high, medium and low voltage, under public services under the terms of the General Electricity Law and its Regulations.
