Speaking at the opening of the workshop on “youth, training and employment”, promoted by the party’s Provincial Committee, he defended the need to include this fringe in society, active participation in the construction of democracy, identification with the principles and values of culture and politics, the process of socialization and integration as an individual, in the community.
“The important thing is not to disclose that you have a degree, master’s or doctorate, that you have the qualifications. But associated with this, it is important to evaluate the impact of this training in the process of transforming society, knowing what the inputs, what adds to the process of transformation social ”, he noticed, for whom man is not an isolated being, because he is in constant interaction with the environment and only in this interrelation is his personality forged, self-defined and where his behavior is manifested and evaluated.
He criticized some young people concerned with positioning and social prestige, seeking superficiality in being and being. So that they are not “mere actors”, Ângela Bragança invited them to seek an identity shaped by civic and moral values, grounded in objectivity.
Ângela Bragança said that, with a few months to go before the general elections, the participation of young people should be welcomed with expectation because they constitute the majority of citizens and they have an important role in the development of the country and in politics, being the architects of the consolidation of the State. democratic and legal.

He referred that the relationship between the topics discussed “youth, training and employment” seeks to optimize talents, technical skills, mental strength, dynamism and audacity of youth, in the context of the country’s reality. the inspiration for entrepreneurship and the promotion of self-employment with or without government intervention.
Ângela Bragança said that statistics show that the unemployment rate among young people between 15 and 24 years old stands at 59.8 percent, with a regressive trend as different government initiatives and programs are developed, noting that between 2018 and 2018 In 2021, 435,698 employment contracts were established, with “the highest average percentage” of contracts created for the private sector in 2021, with 97 percent, while the public sector recorded 14.1 percent in 2020.
The issue of the Covid-19 pandemic was also analyzed by the leader, who outlined “a new worrying reality”, with the closure of companies and services in the private sector.
The workshop also addressed other topics such as “the challenges of Angolan youth”, “youth training and staff management policy”, “employment promotion policy” and “youth and democracy”, which sparked debates. of the auditorium, with the speakers reiterating the calls for democracy and its principles, for the contribution of
youth, preservation and renewal, dedication to studies and the issue of patriotism and valorization of professional training.
Respect for elders and national symbols was also recommended, in an act witnessed by the MPLA’s first provincial secretary of Namibe, Archer Mangueira, who asked young people to continue to dream for a better country.
