Africa-Press – Angola. “The virgin princess Osanda and the most romantic man in the world” is the title of the feature film by director Valdemiro de Faria, whose premiere will take place in December at Belas Shopping, in Luanda.According to the director, Fidel Faria, the film was shot in Luanda and is subtitled in Kimbundu, with the aim of publicizing and promoting the national language abroad.
Fidel Faria, who contacted via WhatsApp from the United States, assured that the premiere will be for a restricted audience. The film stars Miguel Neto, Whitney Shikongo, Nonhele Thema, a South African actress, Tiago Costa, Valdemiro de Faria and Sara Valente.
The feature film tells the story of a Princess who leaves a Kingdom and experiences a life outside the comfort of her royalty. She travels to a city where she meets the most romantic man in the world.
According to Fidel Faria, the film was inspired by the story of Queen Esther from the Holy Bible. The film will premiere in cinemas next year in Luanda, in the first phase.
In addition to Luanda, he stressed, it is also necessary to project the film in other markets, where the film industry has a large reach, particularly in Europe and America.
Fidel Faria revealed that Valdemiro Faria, with the production of “The Virgin Princess Osanda and the Most Romantic Man in the World”, is seeking another experience in the market, after having produced several recordings, including the CD “Última coisa fofo”, by “Project World Family”, launched at Parque da Independência, in Luanda.
The film, lasting an hour and a half, was directed and produced by Valdemiro de Faria, Faria F (Yetu Mandume) and Yeshwa N’zambi, while filming was carried out by Suzaldina and Edição Stúdio.
