Rui Gourgel, who was speaking at the end of an audience granted by the deputy provincial governor of Malanje for the Political, Economic and Social Sector, Domingos Eduardo, said that there were already advanced studies, adding that, for the success of the project, a substation would be built electricity supply in the municipality of Xá Muteba (Lunda-Norte), and some arrangements must also be made for the substations in Malanje.
“It is premature to say the capacity of the future substation because everything still depends on the studies that are being carried out. I do not believe that the works will start this year, but next year, because, at the end of this year, we will have the studies concluded”, he guaranteed.
