The Attorney General of the Republic of Angola, Hélder Pitta Gróz, held meetings in Brazil with his counterparts from Singapore, Russia and the Kingdom of Spain to strengthen bilateral cooperation with these countries.On the sidelines of the PG20 Summit meeting, Hélder Pitta Gróz met with his Singaporean counterpart, Lucien Wong.
He reinforced the need for prompt response to requests for cooperation, within the framework of asset recovery carried out by the Angolan Government, especially considering that all the requirements for its normal response have been met.
In turn, the Attorney General of Singapore assured that all support will be provided, as he considers it to be the right of the Angolan people and State to see their assets returned.
In another meeting, the magistrate met with the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Spain, Álvaro Garcia Ortíz, leaving a wide space open for inter-institutional cooperation, especially in the area of training and qualification of magistrates and judicial technicians.
Pitta Gróz then met with his Russian counterpart, Igor Viktorovitch Krasnov, with whom he discussed issues of inter-institutional cooperation. On that occasion, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding, negotiated and approved about two years ago, the aim of which is to jointly carry out training activities and exchange experiences.
