Africa-Press – Angola. Emanuel Fernandes (List A) and Mário Joaquim (List B), candidates for the presidency of the Angolan Volleyball Federation (FAVB), began their hunt for votes on Monday, with the presentation of their programs and lines of support to the voting population.
After the verification and analysis stage of the processes, the Electoral Commission, led by Moisés Graneira, did not find any non-conformity.
At this stage of the race for the top position in the Volleyball Federation, Fernandes and Joaquim are working to organize their respective work schedules. The campaign ends on December 26th and the following day is reserved for reflection.
The electoral contest for the 2025/2028 Olympic cycle is scheduled for December 28, from 9 am to 12 pm, at the institution’s headquarters, in the Cidadela Desportiva Complex. The results will be announced afterwards.
After the election and scrutiny, the period for complaints regarding the electoral act follows from 28 to 30 December, while from 2 to 8 January 2025 is reserved for the assessment of any irregularities that occurred in the electoral act.
The following day, the final results will be announced at 11:00 am at the institution’s headquarters.
