Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Filipe Zau, is in Cape Verde, representing the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to participate in the centenary of the celebrations of the Island of S. Filipe.
Upon arrival, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment was received in audience by the Cape Verdean Head of State, to whom he delivered a message from President João Lourenço, according to a statement from that ministerial department.
Filipe Zau and the delegation accompanying him, namely the Angolan ambassador to Cape Verde, Júlia Machado, maintained an intense political and socio-cultural activity, with emphasis on the visit to the local centrality, the desalination project, the School of Tourism, the audience with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration, Rui Soares and the former President, Pedro Pires.
