Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Dalva Ringote Allen, traveled to Hainan City this Sunday to participate in a high-level seminar under the motto: “Strengthening Partnerships and Investment”, at the invitation of the China Agency for the Promotion of International Trade. According to a press release sent, the three-day event will feature thematic panels that will address issues such as integration, culture, to stimulate and develop tourism, strengthening cooperation for mutual benefits, investment promotion, the Hainan Free Trade Port, investment promotion and China’s third international supply chain and technological innovation.
The seminar will be attended by members of the Communist Party, including the provincial secretary of the Communist Party, Feng Fei, members of the local government, diplomats, academics and entities from African governments.
The statement also highlights that the objective is to identify partnerships in the areas of renewable energy, promoting and strengthening investment with reciprocal benefits, and technological innovation.
At the end of the first day of work, the note adds, the provincial governor of Hainan, Liu Xiaoming, granted a courtesy audience to those present, having expressed interest in carrying out city twinning with the African continent.The seminar is scheduled to end on the 30th of this month.
