Africa-Press – Angola. A message from the Head of State, João Lourenço, was delivered this Thursday morning to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed Ali, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António. The content of the letter was not revealed, but it is presumed to be related to friendship and solidarity with the Ethiopian people and Government, as well as the deepening of bilateral and multilateral relations, including issues of mutual interest and at continental level, according to the MIREX in a press release.
Angola and Ethiopia have maintained, at the highest level, a regular exchange of messages reflecting the friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
The document states that exchanges of messages between the two countries have been characterized by a continuous strengthening of bilateral relations, with an emphasis on areas such as peace and security, economic cooperation and multilateralism.
The head of Angolan diplomacy left the capital of Addis Ababa this morning, heading to New Delhi, where he is expected to join the delegation of the highest leader of the Angolan nation who will be visiting India.
