Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly (AN), Suzana Augusta de Melo, guaranteed, on Tuesday, in the province of Cabinda, more training activities for the administrative and technical employees of the Provincial Electoral Circle Support Offices throughout the country. Speaking to the press, at the end of a meeting with the employees of the Local Electoral Circle Support Office, the official said that the maintenance of technical and IT resources, and others, as well as the training of staff and the filling of vacancies in the provinces are among the priorities of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly.

“The tour we are taking through the various regions of the country necessarily aims to identify concerns and take them to the competent authorities for their resolution”, she said.

The aim of these visits is to put an end to the feeling of “unequal treatment” that lingers among the employees of the Provincial Electoral Offices, remembering that they are not independent or autonomous structures of the National Assembly.

In Cabinda, the President of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly also held a courtesy meeting with Governor Suzana de Abreu, with whom she discussed aspects related to the social and economic life of the region.

The parliamentary delegation will work on Wednesday and Thursday in the neighboring province of Zaire, with the same purpose.
