Africa-Press – Angola. Adilson da Cruz “Neblu”, 31 years old, is awaiting today the final assessment from the Medical Department and the Technical Team of 1.o de Agosto, regarding his physical availability, with a view to tomorrow’s derby, at 4:00 pm, at the 11 de Novembro Stadium, against Petro de Luanda, corresponding to the 28th round of the Girabola. Since last week, the experienced goalkeeper of the military team has been seeking the best athletic levels to get in shape, with a view to taking part in the biggest duel in national football. The player is included in group training and is waiting for the positive sign of the assessment, according to coach Filipe Nzanza.
“Neblu has been training since last week and is almost 100 percent. At this stage he is working with the group and we will carry out the assessment by tomorrow. If everything is okay, he can stay in goal. On the other hand, we have other players with some injuries, but they are not serious cases”, highlighted the leader of the military technical team.Due to an injury to his right knee sustained in the matchday 23 match, in the 4-1 win over Carmona Sport Clube do Uíge, at the 22 de Junho Stadium, the number 22 of the Augustinians and Palancas Negras missed five matches, four of which were in the Girabola (Desportivo da Huíla/24th matchday; Isaac de Benguela/25th; São Salvador do Kongo/26th; FC Bravos do Maquis/27th) and one in the Angola Cup (quarter-finals, against 1.o de Maio de Benguela).
In the absence of Neblu, an undisputed starter, the goalkeepers were Mig in the Girabola matches and Toni Cabaça in the Angola Cup. Both goalkeepers are available to take over the nets, if they deserve the confidence of the coaching staff.
