Businesspeople from the Netherlands will invest in the export of avocados produced in the municipality of Caála, in the province of Huambo, using the Lobito Corridor as the main transport route. According to the deputy ambassador of the Netherlands in Angola, Paul Ederer, this route strengthens the strategic importance for international trade.
“One of the key agricultural sectors to develop is avocado production, and efficient logistics are essential for its export, especially a properly functioning cold chain,” said the diplomat.
Paul Ederer made these statements during a visit to the company responsible for the export, in the province of Benguela, where he assessed the technical and organizational conditions of the Lobito Corridor.
