Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Planning, Victor Hugo e Guilherme, is representing the Angolan president, João Lourenço, at the Qatar Economic Forum, which began Tuesday in Doha.

Over the course of three days, the minister will hold working meetings with the Qatari Minister of Finance, the Qatar National Planning Council, and the National Investment Authority, among others, on the sidelines of the forum.

The 5th Qatar Economic Forum, promoted by Bloomberg in collaboration with Media City Qatar, is exploring critical global economic challenges and opportunities under the slogan “The Road to 2030: Transforming the Global Economy.” The forum aligns closely with Qatar’s National Vision 2030.

The forum attracts over 1,500 participants, including heads of state, policymakers, CEOs, and industry leaders from around the world. Over the past five years, it has addressed crucial questions about energy security, global trade, and the complexities of globalization.

Discussions at the event will focus on five themes: “Geopolitics, Globalization, and Trade,” “Business Perspectives, Energy, and Security,” “Sports and Entertainment,” “Hype Technology and Reality,” and “Artificial Intelligence.”
