Africa-Press – Angola. Veteran Benguela musician Carlos Albano expects to record his third album later this year.
The album will feature a mix of various musical styles, in addition to the semba that predominates on his albums.
According to the musician, who has been in the business for fifty years, basically everything is set and ready to start working with musicians from that province.
“I plan to start including the national languages Umbudu and Kimbundu in my repertoire to diversify my work a little,” he said.
According to the artist, things are simpler now, because it is no longer necessary to travel to Luanda or abroad to produce an album, as was the case a few years ago.
Carlos Albano has two albums on the market and some recorded songs that are not part of any of the albums already produced.
The ones that are currently played the most on the radio, at parties and nightclubs are: “Marido a jeitos” and “N’dengue gastaso”.
