Africa-Press – Angola. At least 185 national companies from various sectors of activity will participate, from 3 to 7 July of the current year, in Expo-Uíge/2025, as part of the celebrations of the 108th anniversary of the founding of the city of Uíge and the 50th anniversary of National Independence.
In statements on Monday (30), the president of the company CCalas Angola (organizer of the event), Carlos Calas, explained that this edition will feature companies from the sectors of agriculture, commerce, industry, IT, crafts, machinery and health equipment.
Compared to the 2024 Edition, this Edition will have an increase of 10 companies from various sectors of activity and the 7 new municipalities in the region, created within the scope of the New Political-Administrative Division.
He also reported that the event will feature the participation of companies from the provinces of Malanje, Cuanza-Norte, Huambo, Benguela and Cabinda. The assembly work on the spacecraft is in its final phase.
On the other hand, the deputy coordinator of the Uíge festivities, Eduardo José Manuel, added that, in addition to the 185 companies that will be inside the tent, another 500 stalls will also be set up for stallholders.
These stallholders will display potatoes, bananas, cassava, beans, vegetables and other foods, for those who prefer to consume natural products.
