Africa-Press – Angola. TAAG announced this Thursday the change in connecting flights between Luanda-Lisbon, São Paulo and Lagos, due to the improvement works on the runway at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport.
According to a press release from the airline, the changes affected the departure time of the flight DT 650 (Luanda-Lisbon), and the arrival time of the flight DT 748 (São Paulo-Luanda), as well as the DT 565 (Lagos-Luanda) , setting that will be temporary.
In this sense, the timetable of the DT 650 flight, which makes the daily connection between Luanda and Lisbon at night, will depart the Angolan capital at 22:30, with arrival scheduled for 06:20 (local time).
The DT 748 flight from São Paulo (Brazil), which departs Brazilian territory at 18:15 (local time), has a morning arrival time of 05:35, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Flight DT 565 from Lagos (Nigeria) departs at 03:00 (local time) and arrives in Luanda at 06:00 on Thursday and Sunday.
The document also clarifies that the TAAG flight schedule will have, as of today, only the DT 650, DT 748 and DT 565 flights with an impact on the usual schedule.
In the statement, TAAG asks passengers on the aforementioned flights to “special care” in preparing the trip, namely, with ‘check-in’, ‘drop-off’ of luggage and presentation at the airport, in view of the new stipulated schedules.
The national airline undertakes to make this communication to passengers by sending an SMS/email, as well as publishing it on TAAG’s online platforms, in addition to a note sent to the press.
“TAAG is monitoring this operation on a permanent basis with the Airport Management Company (SGA) in order to provide new information to its passengers whenever justified, so we regret any inconvenience caused and reinforce the care to be taken in the preparation of the trip and connecting flights”, underlines the statement quoted by Lusa.
