Police Dismantle Criminal Organization in Tomboco

Africa-Press – Angola. A criminal organization composed of six alleged criminals on Monday was dismantled by the National Police (PN) in the Kinzau commune, Tomboco municipality, Zaire Province.

The group consisted of young people aged between 17 and 20, caught in the act by PN while robbing a residence on the outskirts of the Kinzau commune, using bladed weapons and blunt objects.

According to the spokesperson for the National Police in the province, Superintendent Luís Bernardo, during a police operation, the criminals, armed with machetes, knives, blades, and stones, caused harm to a member of the Angolan Armed Forces.

Luís Bernardo said that the suspects will be presented to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the coming days for legal proceedings.

The Kinzau commune is located 92 km from the municipal seat of Tomboco.
