Africa-Press – Angola. Caxito – David Samba will launch on Thursday (4), in Bengo Province, a book entitled “11 Poemas da Esperança” (11 Poems of Hope), at the local Higher Pedagogical School.
With the release of the aforementioned work, the poet makes his debut in the world of literature.
The book, which addresses the daily lives of Angolans focusing on themes such as national identity, hope, solidarity, and love, will be published by Bengo Editora publishing company.
“This book is a sign of resistance, because making literature in Angola, especially in the province of Bengo, has been a great challenge”, said the author.
David Samba was born in the province of Bié. He is the coordinator of the Bengo branch of the Levarte literary movement, as well as the acting coordinator of the Praia Académica movement.
