Africa-Press – Angola. First Lady Ana Dias Lourenço began on Monday a two-day work trip to the eastern province of Moxico Leste, with the goal of strengthening social initiatives that directly impact the lives of the population residing in this part of the country.
Upon arrival at General Sapilinha Sambalanga Airport, in the municipality of Luau, she was received by the provincial governor, Crispiniano dos Santos.
According to information released by the provincial government, during the two-day working visit, Ana Dias Lourenço will monitor projects in the health and education sectors in the municipalities of Luaua and Luacano, areas considered strategic for human development and the reduction of social inequalities,
Moxico Leste is one of the 21 provinces of Angola, with 411,074 inhabitants, distributed across nine municipalities, namely Caianda, Cameia, Cazombo (provincial capital), Lago Dilolo, Lóvua do Zambeze, Macondo, Luacano, Luau, and Nana Candundo.
