Africa-Press – Angola. The National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises started, this Monday, in Luanda, the training of 1,500 young creative entrepreneurs, under the RECRIA project, which aims to transform artistic and digital talents into sustainable companies.
The initiative, resulting from the mapping of cultural and creative industries carried out by the Angolan Government from 2018 to 2022, is funded by the National Employment Support Fund (FUNEA) and will cover young people from the provinces of Luanda, Huambo, Namibe and Luanda-Norte, until July 13.
In a first phase, young people from Luanda are being trained, followed by those from Huambo, Namibe and Lunda-Norte.
At the opening of the course, the manager of the RECRIA project, Igor Chaves, informed that the young people will be trained in the areas of music, content and software creation, theater, fashion, cooking, tourism, among others.
He added that after the training, entrepreneurs will benefit from financing and kits corresponding to the training area.
He stressed the importance of RECRIA in fostering structured businesses in the creative industry, diversifying the national economy and generating more jobs for young people.
During the training action, subjects on “Business Formalization”, “Management and Knowledge of the Creative Industry”, “Company Formation”, “Intellectual Property” and “Finance” will be addressed.
