Africa-Press – Angola. Angola administered, in the last 24 hours, 8,088 doses of vaccines, in the different High Performance Vaccination Posts, according to data from the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP) distributed this Sunday to the press.
According to the daily bulletin released yesterday, Sunday, the prominent provinces are Uíge (1,564), Huambo (1,231), Bié (1,037), Cuanza-Sul (992) and Moxico (800).
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in Angola, in March 2021, 19,389,523 doses have been administered. Of this number, 6,773,915 people have complete immunity and 12,644,733 with just one dose.
Regarding the booster dose, the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health states that a total of 5 million people have already been vaccinated. According to the DNSP bulletin, the Vaccination Program plans to immunize a total of 20,754,946 of the eligible population.
