Africa-Press – Angola. The barrel of Brent oil, a reference to Angolan exports, closed the week at 93.27 dollars.
The rise is up $2.16 or 2.4 percent from the previous $92.11.
In this Saturday’s trading, Brent still reached $93.70, breaking a record only reached in recent years in October 2014.
Angola has an estimated average production of 1.2 million barrels/day, but is authorized by OPEC to reach 1.4 million.
The reference price that the country adopted in this year’s State Budget is US$59 per barrel.
