Africa-Press – Angola. The Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy (Angola) intends to intensify cooperation with the Higher Institute of International Relations Raúl Roa (Cuba), with the prospect of mutual advantages.
The intention was expressed on Friday, in Havana, by the deputy general director for studies and research at the Angolan institution, Matias Pires, according to a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Cuba.
The Angolan diplomat said that it was in the interest of the Angolan side to strengthen cooperation in the areas of staff training and information exchange.
At the meeting with the vice-rector of the Higher Institute of International Relations Raúl Roa, the Angolan official delivered a proposal for the signing of a new scientific cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Matias Pires, who, in Havana, is participating in the fifth international conference on World Balance, gave a conference on Angola’s foreign policy.
