Africa-Press – Angola. The municipal administrator of Viana, Demétrio de Sepúlveda, called this Thursday, in Luanda, for the participation of businessmen in the development of the municipality, making it better known, beyond national borders and existing opportunities.
The municipal administrator made these statements at the opening ceremony of the second edition of the Viana Agro-industrial Fair, which runs from 11 to 14 May this year, under the motto “Viana, Towards Sustainable Development and agribusiness”.
According to him, the event will feature exhibitors from two of the most important branches for the development of the municipality (agriculture and industry), which should make the location more visited by other active agents.
According to Demétrio de Sepúlveda, events like these should take place more frequently, as they are a showcase where players from these two sectors of life in the country can demonstrate their potential and the quality of their products.
In turn, Carlos Caldas, responsible for the fair, referred that the event aims to boost the country’s economy and improve the standard of living of Angolans.
The businessman also added that the economy and the social environment are the two pillars that will determine the sustainable development of the municipality of Viana.
The fair has at least 150 exhibitors from Luanda, Huíla, Uíge and Malanje, with the support of the Municipal Administration of Viana.
