Africa-Press – Angola. More than 300 underprivileged people in the province of Huambo today benefited from basic baskets for Christmas dinner, in a solidarity gesture by the Youth Ministry of the Mission Center of the 7th Day Adventist Church.
The initiative, carried out during the solidarity Christmas celebration, served for young people from that religious denomination to show their love for their neighbor and provide conditions for needy people to have a decent Christmas party.
Held at the Osvaldo Serra Van-Dúnem multipurpose pavilion, in the interior of the city of Huambo, it was marked by the exhibition of a drama about Christmas, in the sense of appealing to those present about the importance of the birth of Jesus Christ in the life of every Christian.
On the occasion, the director of the Ministry of Youth at the Mission Center of the 7th Day Adventist Church, Pastor Daniel Cameia, appealed to the youth community to continue promoting generosity towards the most needy, especially during the festive season (Christmas and New Year’s Eve). of year).
When addressing those present, he said that generosity and charity are the essential principles and values of a Christian, on how to contribute to building a more united world, of love and fraternity among men.
In addition to Huambo, the Centro Mission of the 7th-Day Adventist Church comprises the provinces of Benguela, Bié, Cuando Cubango and Cuanza Sul.
