Africa-Press – Angola. The outgoing ambassador of Angola to Zimbabwe, Agostinho Tavares, presented farewell greetings to the President of the Republic of that country, Emmerson Mnangagawa.
During the meeting, the President of Zimbabwe highlighted the excellent relations between the two countries and stressed that the Permanent Joint Cooperation Commission held in Luanda in 2024, 32 years later, had significantly developed and given considerable impetus.
The Head of State stressed that relations between the two countries have grown since the pre-independence period to the present day, with the movements that led the liberation struggles still in power and their leadership in the new struggle for economic emancipation.
President Emerson Mnangagwa also stressed the need for both countries to continue working closely together at bilateral, regional and continental levels to promote common goals.
