Africa-Press – Angola. More than eighty tax taxpayers, including businesspeople, jurists, accountants and bankers, from the province of Bié, were trained by the General Tax Administration (AGT), on tax measures as part of the General State Budget (OGE) 2024.
During the day on Thursday, these taxpayers learned about tax contributions on foreign exchange operations, related to the transfer of currency abroad, the Industrial Tax Code, as well as the changes that occurred in the Value Added Tax Code (VAT). ).
They also improve some measures regarding Labor Income Tax, which no longer has a linear exemption of up to 100 thousand kwanzas, and various clarifications on the differentiation of social security contributions with other taxes, especially IRT.
On the occasion, the tax litigation technician at AGT do Cuito, Mateus Paulo, told that the idea of the training is to share knowledge linked to the tax changes that the new General State Budget brings for this year, clarifying to taxpayers the steps they must take now follow.
She explained that the training action also covered lawyers and accountants, so that they could help inform local taxpayers about these new tax measures.
He announced that this training will be ongoing, taking into account the increase in revenue collection needed from the State coffers.
