Africa-Press – Angola. Ambassador Guilhermina Prata presented, this Friday, the Letters to the Director of State Protocol and Diplomatic Events of France, Philippe Franc.
Appointed on the 20th of January this year, Guilhermina Prata will represent Angola in the French Republic, in the Kingdom of Monaco and in Liechtenstein.
According to a note received the new ambassador, who replaces João Miranda, should present the Letters of Credentials in April of the current year.
It should be recalled that, when taking office on 24 January, Guilhermina Prata highlighted the strengthening of cooperation relations, which had existed for 46 years, as a priority.
At the time, the diplomat said that Angola is willing to work to implement new lines of cooperation, in various areas.
Guilhermina Contreiras da Costa Prata was a member of the National Assembly, Minister of Justice and vice-president of the Constitutional Court.
Angola and France maintain cooperative relations in the areas of education, culture, support for sustainable development, oil and the environment.
