Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, called, for Saturday, the Extraordinary Plenary Meeting of the 2nd Legislative Session of the V Legislature.
According to the call the call for deputies follows paragraph c) of article 42, in conjunction with paragraph of article 44, both of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.
According to the document, the meeting will have as its sole point “the Proposal for the Creation of an Eventual Committee on the Process of Accusation and Dismissal of the President of the Republic”, signed by 90 deputies of the UNITA Parliamentary Group, under the terms of no. 3 of article 284 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.
