Africa-Press – Angola. The Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee of the National Assembly (AN) begins, this Monday, to discuss, in particular and in general, new proposed laws, with emphasis on the to Combat Illegal Mining Activity.

Press learned that in the joint meetings to be held from the 8th to the 19th of this month, deputies will consider documents to be discussed at the next Plenary Meeting of the National Assembly.

They will also consider and vote, in general, on the joint opinion reports relating to proposed laws on International Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters, which amend the Law on the Prevention and Combat of Terrorism.

The proposed law to amend the Law on Preventing and Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, as well as the Penal Code, will also be considered.
