Africa-Press – Angola. Five hundred telecommunications towers were installed nationwide by the Angolan company Anglobal, with a view to ensuring digital connectivity in the country.

Considered a leader in Angola in the engineering services sector, assisted and renewable energies, metal mechanics, logistics, among other areas, this company also built around two thousand kilometers of “backbone” and maintained more than 1,900 kilometers of optical fiber, according to a note sent this Thursday.

In 20 years of existence, celebrated last Tuesday, Anglobal has implemented several data centers, with emphasis on Angola Cables’ Angonap, 18 Unitel switching centers and a data center in São Tomé and Príncipe, in addition to being the owner and responsible for the maintenance of around 1,800 generators, distributed throughout the country, supplying energy at various production points.

Still within the scope of its actions, the company implemented around four megawatts, including 220 KW in its own facilities and around 3.7 megawatts in self-consumption systems.

With covered areas with a capacity of up to 2,400 square meters and 4,000 square meters of open parks in Luanda, supported by three regional logistics distribution centers, it also has industrial units for the design, construction, maintenance and anti-corrosion treatment of metallic structures.

These units are prepared to produce structures to support the expansion of electrical transmission networks, mobile networks and equipment adapted to new 5G trends.

With a total of 749 employees, Anglobal’s turnover shows a solid growth trend, with an average annual growth rate of 14.7% in the last five years, having recorded, in 2021, a turnover of 32.379 million kwanzas, against Kz 28.581 million in 2020.

At the country level, the presence of this company is evidenced by the management of more than two thousand production points in 18 provinces and 164 municipalities, covering urban and rural areas.
