Africa-Press – Angola. The Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation between Angola and Cuba meets, between the 6th and 7th of this month, in the city of Havana, to prepare different agreements, in the sense of boosting the bilateral relationship.
The delegations are guided by the Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Angola, Adão de Almeida, and by the Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruíz.
According to a note from the Angolan diplomatic representation, the parties fulfill an intense agenda of technical discussions on bilateral cooperation.
The Angolan delegation is made up of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Angola to Cuba, Maria Cândida Teixeira, by the Secretaries of State for International Cooperation, Domingos Vieira Lopes, for National Defence, Otoniel Fernandes, for Finance and Treasury, José Maria de Lima , for Higher Education, Eugénio da Silva, for the Hospital Area, Leonardo European, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIPEX, Lello João Francisco, among others.
The intergovernmental cooperation commission is a concertation body created in 2018, with the purpose of boosting the relationship between the two countries.
