Angola and Korea evaluate bilateral cooperation

Africa-Press – Angola. The republics of Angola and Korea evaluated, this Tuesday, the degree of bilateral cooperation, focusing on the areas of trade and exchange of visits at the highest level.

This evaluation took place at an audience granted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, to the ambassador of Correia, Choi Kwang-Jin, during which the parties considered the establishment of cooperation in new areas in the most varied fields to be a priority.

Having established diplomatic relations in 1992, Angola and South Korea have developed beneficial economic partnerships through the implementation of various projects.

The two countries meet regularly in various domains to hold high-level Joint Committee and Exchange sessions.

The legal instruments between the two countries fall within the scope of the General Agreement on Economic and Technical-Scientific Cooperation, signed on July 2, 1993.
