Africa-Press – Angola. The reinforcement of bilateral cooperation between Angola and Mauritania dominated, on Monday, in Nuaquexote, the meeting between the non-resident ambassador of Angola, Adão Pinto, and the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Salem Ould Merzoug.
According to a press release, during the meeting, the two entities examined the state of bilateral cooperation, focusing especially on the political-diplomatic, economic, business, commercial and social segments.
Angola and Mauritania maintain political-diplomatic relations and hope to increase them based on south-south cooperation, for the benefit of the populations of both countries, especially looking at the current global dynamics.
With more than four million inhabitants and an economy based on mineral production and fishing, Mauritania stands out in the Sahel region for its security and political stability.
