Africa-Press – Angola. Senior Officials from Angola and Namibia have been meeting, since this Thursday, in Luanda, to prepare the 1st session of the Bi-National Commission between the two countries, to be held soon.

Political-diplomatic, defense and security, human rights, migration, economic-business and legal-legal issues are on the table for talks.

When opening the work, the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos CustoĢdio Vieira Lopes, considered the meeting as an opportunity for the parties to create the foundations with a view to solidifying the existing bonds of friendship, fraternity and solidarity among the people.

Secretary of State Vieira Lopes said he was convinced that, within the four sectoral committees created, there would be an opportunity to fulfill the arduous mission of preparing the historic inaugural session of the Angola-Namibia Bi-National Commission.

The work of senior officials will take place over three days.

To prepare the 1st Bi-National Session, sectoral working groups were created, namely: diplomatic and judicial; economic and infrastructure; social and cultural and defense and security.
