Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and the Republic of Korea assessed, Monday, in Luanda, the deepening of bilateral relations, especially with regard to areas of cooperation to be explored.
Through a note that the assessment took place during an audience between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António and the ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Angola, Kwang-Jin Choi. The opportunity served for the South Korean diplomat to present the candidacy of the city of Busan to host the 2030 World Expo to the Angolan official and to discuss the visit to Angola of the governor of that city, Park Heong-Joon, who is due to travel will soon be in Luanda as special envoy of his country’s highest representative.
Of the various issues discussed between the two individuals, the possibility of Angola and the Republic of Korea signing a twinning agreement between cities in the two countries was also highlighted.
