Africa-Press – Angola. Angola lost on Wednesday (1) to Italy, 3-4, in the opening of the Nations Cup in roller hockey, which runs until the 5th of this month in the city of Montreux, Switzerland.
The goals for the national team were scored by Big, Tomás Cardoso and Gonçalo Nunes, while for the Italians, Diquigiovanni, Malagoli, Gioele Piccoli and Elia Cinquini scored.
The match is part of Group A, which also includes Argentina, Angola’s opponent in the second round on Thursday, and the Montreux Hockey Club.
The Argentinians thrashed the “home” team, 7-1. The competition, also known as the Montreux Tournament, also includes the participation of the national teams of Portugal, France, Spain and Switzerland, which make up Group B.
