Africa-Press – Angola. Angola has 153 billion kwanzas available in commercial banks for Angolan investors residing in the diaspora and beyond, announced Monday, the director of the Office of Strategic Studies and Analysis of the Presidency of the Republic, Norberto Garcia.

According to Norberto Garcia, who was speaking to the press, on the sidelines of the 1st National Meeting with the Angolan Community Resident in the Diaspora, in addition to these values, 35 million hectares of arable land are also available for investors.

“As a Studies Office, the problem has already been identified, now the time has come to find solutions to attract national investors, because they are the Executive’s priority”, he said.

Norberto Garcia said that “now Angolan investors in the diaspora will never have difficulties again, because the Associação Movimento Nacional Angola Real (MONAAR) is there to help in the process of facilitating potential investors”.

In turn, the vice-president of Angola Real, Mateus Sebastião said that the main objective is to seek knowledge, through scientific research, in order to develop activities of common interest, aimed at contributing to the well-being of citizens.

He pointed out that the scientific research program, produced by MONAAR, led to a close observation that the policy adopted by the Executive in the economic sector has achieved significant progress, with the potentialization of the national business community, prioritizing national production.

“This measure significantly impacted the country’s economy, as there was a decrease in the import of certain products and goods, which were previously dependent on imports, and pressured the state to spend a lot of currency from its net international reserves”, he said.

Under the motto: Angola in the current political, economic and social context, the meeting, which runs until the third of the current month, has the participation of 300 Angolan delegations residing in the diaspora.
