Africa-Press – Angola. The National Team qualified, this Monday, for the semi-finals of the African Futsal Championship, with a historic rout over Ghana, 11-3.
The national team was already leading 5-2 at half-time, in a game played at the Prince Moulay Abdallah pavilion, in Rabat, Morocco.
The match, on the 3rd round of Group A, was marked by double hat-tricks from Bráulio (3 goals) and Chico (3). Arroz Doce (2), Jó, Hélber and Kaluanda completed the count. Ghana pulled one back with an own goal from Adérito and goals from Pako and Arthur.
With the triumph, Angola finishes in 2nd place in the standings, with 6 points.
On Friday, the national team plays the semi-finals with Egypt, three-time continental champions.
In the other game in the group, hosts Morocco defeated their counterpart Zambia 13-0 and reached the top of Group A, with 9 points, facing Libya in the semi-finals.
