Africa-Press – Angola. Angola made its debut this Tuesday, with double defeat, at the Ju-Jitsu World Games, taking place in Saudi Arabia, Press learned from a source from the Angolan ju-Jitsu federation.

In the first fight, athlete Cláudia Santos lost to Denise Krahn, from Germany, in the -70 kg category, while in the second, she lost to Batbaatar Khulan, from Mongolia.

Participating in the world event, where Angola evolves for the first time, are athletes Daniel Songo (+94 kg category), Cláudia Santos (-70 kg) and Américo Mutunda (-62 kg).

Daniel Songo and Américo Mutunda will only fight on Wednesday, when the organization is still waiting for the pairing.

1,500 athletes participate in the event, representing 120 countries and 16 combat disciplines.
