Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of National Defense, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Fatherland, João Ernesto dos Santos, will participate, starting this Monday, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the 18th Edition of the “Dubai Airshow 2023”, which takes place from 13 to 17 November, at Dubai World Central (DWC).
The event is supported by key aviation industry stakeholders including Dubai Airports, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), UAE Ministry of Defense, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) and UAE Space Agency. United Arab Emirates.
Accompanied by the Angolan ambassador to the UAE, Júlio Maiato, he attended the opening of the event which is being held under the high patronage of the vice-president, prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and governor of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The event showcases sustainability initiatives and technologies from government entities and the aerospace industry in general, further reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to promoting sustainable circularity ahead of the COP28 summit, scheduled for next month.
In this edition, more than 1,400 world-class exhibitors participate, more than 180 aircraft are on display and there are more than 300 speakers.
In 2021, the Dubai Airshow made it possible to establish more than 74 billion dollars in business announced during the event.
