Africa-Press – Angola. Angola presented several products under the “Made in Angola” brand and information about the country’s current economic situation during the annual edition of the Swiss-African Business Day, held on weekend in Geneva, Switzerland.
A press release by the Angolan Embassy in that European country states that economic opportunities and progress in improving the business environment in Angola were presented.
The event brought together more than 350 business leaders, investors and policymakers from 30 countries to forge partnerships.
The Swiss-African Business Day (SABD) was held in collaboration with the Swiss-African Business Circle (SABC), with a special focus on strengthening economic relations between Switzerland and Africa.
The event took place under the auspices of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and had as its theme “Africa in a New Global Economy: Trade, Capital, Impact”.
The Swiss-African Business Day featured several panels, networking opportunities, and workshops focused on exploring new patterns in African global trade, access to capital, and sustainable investment strategies. The Angolan ambassador to Switzerland, Filomena Delgado, participated in the event.
