Africa-Press – Angola. Staff from the National Agency for Mineral Resources (ANRM) are in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where they establish contacts with strategic partners for the production of clean energy in the country.

As part of the Forum on Minerals of the Future, taking place from the 11th to the 12th of this month, Angolan specialists will take the opportunity to publicize the country’s geological and mining situation, including the 36 critical mineral resources that serve to produce carbon-free energy.

Among the minerals of the future for clean energies, lithium, nickel, graphite, manganese, copper, rare earths and cobalt stand out.

In terms of the business environment, the Angolan delegation will present to participants the specific exchange rate regimes for the mining sector and the Specific Regime for Granting Visas to businessmen.

Cited in a note from the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, the national director of Mineral Resources, Paulo Tanganha, highlights Angola’s objectives for the forum, such as apprehending the experiences of other countries in terms of policies and strategies for the mining sector.

It is also intended to identify cooperation opportunities with scientific research institutions for the Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas sector.

The organization of the event expects to bring together six thousand participants, including speakers, companies and representatives from several countries.
